Due to the climate change, cropping pattern is also predicted to change. Millets are said take the primary seat for nutrition. The chief crop of arid zone is pearl millet and the economic condition of farmer does not permit the loss of his only cereal crop, nor he has the surplus money to invest in agro chemicals. Therefore, the understanding of biology , epidemiology and various management techniques help the farmers, researchers and students to reduce the crop loss and feed more people. The arid crops are usually the very important resource for the sustainance of the farmers and nomads of Arid Zones. The present study discusses about the crop and its related issues of Great Indian Desert located in Rajasthan state of India.
