By profession a medical scientist, BRENDA HAYNES BROWN, serves as an editorial advisor for medical journals. She is an award-winning songwriter and has previously published a book of her poetry. She resides in Germantown, TN, with her husband, Larry. They have a son, Jameson, of Houston, TX.
