Wanda Davis Grimes grew up in Columbus, Georgia, where she resides in her very own home today. She can be seen twice a week in the Muscogee County jail, where she has ministered for over twenty years. In 2014, Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson proclaimed that February 4th, 2014 was Wanda Grimes Day. On this day in 2022, Wanda still works tirelessly every day, ministering and working on this book to get her word out.
