Our culture has decided that seniority is useless. Older women tend to be marginalized. Being fat, old, or female (of any color) is sometimes even considered embarrassing. But that is not how God sees us. As we age, our culture may encourage us to withdraw, to leave things to those who are younger. But that's not what God says. We aren't done until HE says we're done. And He doesn't let weight, age, race, gender, or even disability keep us from making a difference. This is not the time to retire, to give up, to back off. No matter what you've been told or come to believe, God is not finished with you yet. You still have something to offer and there couldn't be a better time to offer it than now! This book is about helping women of a certain age to stop living small lives. To rise up and fulfill their deepest dreams and to be everything God means for them to be. There is so much to do! It's not too late.
Autorenporträt
France has worn many hats over the years: actor in a traveling theatre company, wife and stepmom of 3, administrator, self-employed entrepreneur, teacher, pastor, life coach, writer, and speaker. Her adventures have taken her to such diverse and interesting places as big city Chicago IL, burgeoning desert oasis Las Vegas NV, liberal Berkeley CA, remote Cordova in an Alaskan rain forest, the Wild West of Billings MT, and the Wind River Indian Reservation in Ethete WY, and rural Central New York. Along the way she has recovered from childhood abuse and PTSD, had more than her fair share of FOWL experiences, dealt with a chronic autoimmune condition, and learned inner healing from the inside out. Her journey has not only covered a lot of miles but a lot of growth. She is uniquely qualified to help other women find the inner healing, wellbeing, and purpose she has found.
