Li Haining is a teacher and writer who resides in Seattle, USA. Li graduated with a bachelor's degree from Fudan University in Shanghai and a master's degree from Kobe University in Japan. Her essays and prose have been published in various newspapers and magazines, and have been selected for several anthologies. Her poetry has been published in Poetry Hall in both Chinese and English editions and in online platforms and has been selected for anthologies. She has won multiple awards in poetry competitions. Li is the overseas editor for Poet's Geographic Weekly. Some of her writings have been published under the pen name Ruth.
