David Flores, A.K.A. Coach Brownie, grew up in El Salvador with his parents and his two siblings. He loved to play soccer from a young age. He would play at school, the streets, and anywhere else he went. He played soccer wearing church shoes, chanclas, and even barefoot! In his teenage years, David migrated to Texas. In Dallas, soccer helped him transition to his new home by making some of his best friendships amongst his teammates.David played select, high school, and college soccer in North Texas. He attended and played soccer at Richland College (Dallas, TX) and SAGU (Waxahachie, TX) where he graduated as an educator. David currently resides in Waxahachie with his soccer sweetheart and his two book worm soccer-loving daughters.David continues to teach, coach, and write bilingual children's books as Coach Brownie. "The Boy Who Cried ¡Falta!" is the third book from his Soccer Little series about Tony, the Dallas soccer-loving boy.
