Today there are many opinions about the prospects for the development of Sochi as a mountain-climatic resort. The object of the study in this paper is the resort and tourist complex as a city-forming sphere of Sochi. The subject of the study are the status and prospects of development of the resort and tourist complex of Sochi. The purpose of the study is to identify factors and trends in the development of the resort in modern conditions.
