Dr. C.Subba Reddy, born in Akepadu village in Kadapa district, India, got his Ph.D in Social Anthropology in 2001. He worked in Maldives. He is the author of a book on Hunting and Gathering Tribe. Three of his articles are published in international journals. Currently he is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at University of Gondar, Ethiopia.
