Our study analyzes the social determinants of access to employment for engineers graduating from INP-HB from 2006 to 2011. It is based on a qualitative approach. Structuroconstructivist, biographical, strategic and systemic methods are the analytical approaches we used. In the context of our study, they enabled us to consolidate the socially constructed process in which actors on the Côte d'Ivoire job market are involved. Content analysis is the type of analysis we conducted. From this approach to the presentation of employment trends in Côte d'Ivoire, access to employment for engineers graduating from INP-HB from 2006 to 2011 is dependent on their social background.
