This study would help policy makers to evolve such policies which could help improve the conditions of women in Pakistani society.

Fauzia Maqsood has done PhD in Sociology from the University of Punjab, Pakistan. She is Assistant Professor at University of Gujrat, Pakistan. Mohammad Nizamuddin has PhD from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; he has been serving as HEC Foreign Faculty and as the Vice Chancellor, University of Gujrat, Pakistan.
