This qualitative inquiry focuses on the level of acceptance, intergration and discrimination of lesbian families in the social context of the Netherlands. It takes as a starting point modern sociological and anthropological theories. It's second part continues with the research of the given issue. Its research is based on face-to-face interviews with 5 lesbian couples and one single lesbian mother, and it was based on a semi-structured questionnaire. The last part critically discusses the relevance of the found data with theory.
