The aim of this work is to analyse the management of science, technology and innovation policies and their social repercussions in the Cuban university environment. The justification for this is the result of a systematic process of investigation which is conceived from the theoretical level to the so-called social function of science and its extension to everything related to technology and innovation, which in the context of the current context, the category of social innovation in the Latin American environment is conceived with an evident relevance to the present day.
