Eberechukwu Faith Obani stammt aus dem Bundesstaat Abia in der östlichen Region von Nigeria. Sie hat ihren B.Sc. und M.Sc. in Politikwissenschaften an der Universität von Nigeria, Nsukka, erworben. Außerdem hat sie ein Postgraduierten-Diplom in Pädagogik von der Usman Dan Fodio Universität in Sokoto. Zurzeit unterrichtet sie am Bundeskolleg für Bildung, Eha-Amufu, Enugu State.
