This study investigated what the undergraduate students of Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria use Social Media tools for. It sought to understand the common Social Media tools used by them, the Medium they use to access these Social Media, the challenges they face while using these Social Media, their competency in the use of these new technologies and ultimately, its implication in incorporating them as an instructional strategy tool for undergraduates.

Ajose Olufemi Emmanuel started his professional educational journey from Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education where he obtained a N.C.E in Biology/Chemistry. He also obtained a B.Sc.Ed degree in Biology Education at Lagos State University, Ojo where he also concluded his M.Ed in Educational Technology recently. He is an astute researcher.
