Jennifer Liese is director of the Writing Center at Rhode Island School of Design, where she teaches graduate courses focused on artists' writings and artists writing. She has worked as an independent editor for museums and publishers including the Museum of Modern Art, MIT Press, and Phaidon. She was managing editor of Artforum, editor of Provincetown Arts, and an editor of Cabinet, and serves in editorial advisory roles for Provincetown Arts Press, Cabinet, and the Journal for Artistic Research. Her writing has appeared in Artforum, Bookforum, Cabinet, BOMB, Provincetown Arts, and Paper Monument.
