Autorenporträt
Charles Tilly was Joseph L. Buttenwieser Professor of Social Science at Columbia University. He is the author of more than fifty books including The Vendée: A Sociological Analysis of the Counter-Revolution of 1793 (Harvard University Press 1964). Ernesto Castañeda is Assistant Professor at American University in Washington, DC. He is the author of A Place to Call Home: Immigrant Exclusion and Urban Belonging in New York, Paris, and Barcelona (Stanford University Press 2018). Lesley J. Wood is Associate Professor and Chair of Sociology at York University in Toronto. She is the author of Crisis and Control: The Militarization of Protest Policing (Pluto Press 2014).
