This innovative manuscript vividly presents how social minorities are making use of their social networks for their economic and social wellbeing. Minorities, in the absence of formal and institutionalized social support mechanism tend to use their social networks as a form of insurance. Beyond this, the book also describes how minorities are using their social networks as the way out from social exclusion. The book argues that interventions targeting minorities should approach from the strengths existing in minority community.
