Minorities, in the absence of formal and institutionalized social support mechanism tend to use their social networks as a form of insurance. Beyond this, the book also describes how minorities are using their social networks as the way out from social exclusion. The book argues that interventions targeting minorities should approach from the strengths existing in minority community.
Autorenporträt
In 2007 she got her first degree in Philosophy at Addis Ababa University where she earned her Masters in Social Work in 2008. She also taught at the University as a part-time instructor. Currently, she is working for the Ethiopian Society of Sociologists, Social Workers and Anthropologists (ESSSWA) as a project coordinator.
