The objective of this research is to analyze social networks as a contributor to the generation of gender violence in students of Higher Basic Education in the "Guayaquil" Educational Unit. This study aims to know and determine what types of social networks currently promote gender violence in adolescents. The methodology chosen is based on the level of gender violence that exists in social networks. This was an exploratory, descriptive and explanatory field research with a qualitative-quantitative approach, using instruments such as a survey of 236 students, interviews with the principal, the general inspector and the psychologist. Students are sociable by nature, that today using ICT's they are able to develop empirical communication, for that reason taking advantage of this impetus for the use of social networks has been implemented the management of virtual classrooms feeling able to develop these social skills in any situation.
