Primary hypothyroidism from a historical-technical point of view has been recognized since Bastenia:1 myxedema by thyroid atrophy with low T4 and T3 and high TSH.2 crude hypothyroidism or only elevated TSH.3 subclinical hypothyroidism or only TRH test is positive.4 thyroiditis or only autoantibodies exist 5 or turn over of the deiodase is involved.These are the perspectives of a practitioner in the medical clinic ward and endocrine diseases.
