Produktbeschreibung
This book aims to provoke reactions and debates within the community of researchers of environmental issues and the impact of the concept of sustainable development for communities around environmentally vulnerable areas , at the same time, to interest students of anthropology, sociology, natural resource management and related areas. The environment as an object of social sciences is a relatively recent activity and, despite its consolidation and advancement, is also manifested by conflicts, contradictions, internal limitations, as well as by reactions, recoveries and restorations, tends to be simultaneously treated in a naturalistic way, especially from sustainable development as a new individual and collective code of conduct. The book provides the reader with bases beyond the use of the notion of sustentablity simply as fashion, but also gives him elements that enable him to apply sociological theories to empirical realities.
