Sosthène Kambulu Nyoka wurde am 5. November 1955 geboren und hat einen Abschluss in Animation und Entwicklung. Er ist Vater einer großen Familie mit sieben Kindern. Nach und nach musste er zwei Artikel am Centre d'Etude Ethnologique de Bandundu (CeeBa) über "Sorcellerie, handicap pour le développement chez le peuple pende" (Hexerei, Behinderung der Entwicklung beim Volk der Pende) im Jahr 1990 sowie weitere Artikel und Bücher veröffentlichen.
