This book is intended for all those who wish to learn about scientific research in life and earth sciences and social sciences. To all those who wish to have an idea about Haiti and the socio-cultural links that exist between Brazil and the Caribbean countries. This book was written within the framework of a social and educational cooperation project between Brazil and Haiti. This book also proposes a deep reflection on life in Haiti, on the Brazilian and Haitian educational system. The book is divided into chapters. There is both a theoretical and a practical part in some chapters. A summary is presented in French and English in each chapter, as well as key words. The novice researcher will find in this book all the notions, both theoretical and practical, necessary to teach biology, with a methodology adapted to his environment. This book is the result of a long experience of learning and teaching, and also of a long period of research.
