The main intention of researcher is to create awareness in society and to get it cured or at least its prevention. Not only Thalassemic child but even the parents suffer from mental, social and economic stress. Thalassemic child survive on donor's blood because the patient body is not capable of producing enough amount of blood. Blood screening must be done before marriage in society to prevent Thalassemia. The researcher has studied on the problem faced by Thalassemic children. The best possible way to resolve this problem within the medical sector is to bring public awareness.

Dr. Arti Kotecha did her Ph.D. from Smt S C U Shah Home Science and C U Shah Arts and Commerce Mahila College in the Home Science Faculty.
