Malnutrition is a silent crisis that transcend in the Northern part of Nigeria. Kano having the highest or the most populous state from the North west which has the prevalence of about 54% is chosen as a case study and was found to have five out of every ten child to be stunted. This research also look at the few demographic and Socio-economic factors associated with the malnutrition among the under five years children attending Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital Kano State, Nigeria.
