The economic structure in general and that of the agrarian economy in particular the types of irrigation works, classification of the land, the crops and grown on wet-land and dry-land. The geographical and historical factors that played a vital part in the development of mercantile and maritime activities in the pre- Kakatiya and post Kakatiya periods are taken into consideration.
