It also helps in tapping the inherent talent prevailing among them and acts as a panacea for many problems faced by them, such as dowry death, low recognition in the society, poverty, unemployment and excessive dependence on male members. In view of the vital role being played by women entrepreneurs in generating employment, developing rural economy, reducing regional imbalances, reducing income disparities and in earning more foreign exchange. Thisempirical research study may prove useful for planners of central and state governments and also for relevant institutions while formulating women empowerment policies.
