Disease like cancer develops the feelings of depression, frustration, hopelessness, loneliness and restlessness in the patients. The economic burden on the patients and their families for cancer treatment may disturb their financial condition. The present study is intended to explore the social and psychological impact of cancer on the patients and their families. The sample will be drawn from the three hospitals namely Nishtar Hospital, Minnar Hospital and Children Complex in Multan. These three hospitals have been purposively selected where contact with cancer patients will be possible for the researcher. The sample size will be of 60 cancer patients and 60 their families.
