The aim of this study is to investigate how the technological developments implemented in the production processes and organizational structures of small and medium-sized enterprises affect the the employment process of youth apprentices in these enterprises. The furniture sector of Turkey is chosen as a specific industrial sector for this research. Unfortunately, the skill level of the young apprentice is very crucial when he faces a new technology.
