Undisputedly, education holds the master key as a criterion for selection in various walks of life. In spite of the facts that schools impart uniform classroom instructions to all students, wide range of difference is observed in their academic achievement. Failure in examinations has not only adversely affected academic process but also personal adjustment The thrust of this book was to make an honest attempt to set forth some of the prime factors influencing the academic achievement, namely socio-economic status and study habits. Results of this work have very important implications to the educational system.
