This book presents a study subsidised by sociolinguistic theories that deal with the possibilities of changes in Portuguese language teaching. The methodology used was a bibliographical review based on primary sources. The aim is to understand how sociolinguistics can contribute to less prejudiced and exclusionary mother tongue teaching.
