The present book focuses on the Impact Assessment of Continuing Education Programme (CEP) with special reference to Nainital, district of Uttarakhand State, India. Continuing education provides an opportunity to the people at grassroot level to strengthen their literacy skills and take up other activities, such as, continue their education, increase their income and improve the quality of their lives. But, it is yet to be seen as how far the continuing education programme is successful in realizing its objectives. In the present book, intensive and extensive study of the continuing education programmes has been done to evaluate its implementing pattern, success ratio, achievement, constraints and the relevance.
