This paper examines one of the methods of establishing personality characteristics, the socionic test, which is necessary to determine a person's propensity to take a managerial position. The scientific paper demonstrates the main positive and negative qualities of all 16 sociotypes, from which one can draw a conclusion about their ability to manage a work team. The paper also presents two tables. The first one shows all the positive and negative qualities of the sociotypes as workers. The second shows specific situations in which the leadership qualities of each personality type would be most effective. Finally, the positions that a certain sociotype can occupy, depending on the characteristics of its character and innate talents, have been given. Also presented were the main problems an HR manager might encounter when using the socionic test.
