Autorenporträt
Carolyn Sweers describes herself as a free-lance philosopher. She has a life-long interest in the subject and for over fifty years has taught introductory courses, first with high school students at New Trier and more recently in various older adult programs such as Osher at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Her style of teaching is interactive. She is committed to the Socratic insight that if people are asked the right questions, they can come up with the wisdom they need for the living of a good life.
