The book aims to provide a systematic and comprehensive overview of the open source software-involved business by addressing several major managerial problems confronting software vendors: 1) Developer turnover; 2) Critical success factors of commercial project; 3) Way of participating in community and 4) Decision criterion for license adoption. The research questions are proposed from various theoretical perspectives and handled by quantitative and qualitative empirical analysis jointly. The findings of these studies are interpreted and translated into implications for academia and practice.
