Soil is not a pile of dirt but is treasure house of earthy material and home of many micro-organisms as it was rightly said that "we think that we are standing on the earth but reality is that we are standing on the roof of another world". Rhizospheric region of the soil is one of the important rooms where plant, soil and microbes interact. However, these interactions are of many types but among these, mutulisitic interactions are of great importance. Arbuscular mycorrhizal symbioses are one of the mutualistic relationships among the plant, soil and other microbes. In this book we have tried to summerize some of the multifacet role performed by the AMF fungi in the soil for the benefit and better plant growth, and disease control, dialogue among he co-organisms and their importance in the modern biology.
