Urban waste management and, by extension, urban environmental planning and management, are among the most complex issues facing environmental managers because of their effects on human health and sustainable development.On the threshold of the third millennium, the whole of humanity should internalise the following fact: "A quiet revolution in the 1990s has gradually brought ecological rationality to the forefront of economic policy. For mankind must know that there is a close and potentially positive fundamental link between development and the environment.In this context of general mobilisation for the preservation of the quality of the environment and therefore of life, no source of nuisance or pollution can be neglected. The management of used oils therefore requires special attention.
