He meets people he can care about and starts working on a boat he truly loves. it is his SOLACE in all the storms and all the pain he has. but it is never really what he wanted. he misses the days of love, and friends, and laughter he had once. he gets word from Arizona that there is progress on the solving of the mystery surrounding the explosion that took his partners life, as well as ruined what was left of his. He goes back to Page, Lake Powell to find out what they have been doing what he discovers is that the people he left behind, thinking they had given up on him, had continued to work on finding the actual cause of the explosion, and the culprit behind it. they worked together as a team, and when it was time to go ahead with the plans, they contacted Ray to join them so he could see that they had believed in him all along, and had never stopped working toward the truth, even after he left them for what they thought might be a better life. He returns to help them finish the investigation, and get the justice they all deserve.
