Suely Bispo ist Historikerin und hat einen Master in Literaturwissenschaft an der Bundesuniversität von Espírito Santo. Sie ist auch Schauspielerin und Dichterin. Ob in den Bereichen Geschichte, Bühnenkunst oder Literatur, ihre Arbeiten stehen im Allgemeinen im Zusammenhang mit der Wertschätzung der schwarzen Kultur, der Bürgerschaft und der Ökologie. Normalerweise arbeitet sie mit Geschichte, Theater, Tanz und Poesie.
