Solar Energy is a perspective choice for electric power generation for different applications as investigated in the present study. The Solar Energy can be directly converted into Electrical Energy by Solar Panel.The book is concerned on one of the applications of Solar energy source. The modeling and simulation work involved investigation of feasibility of Solar Water Pumping over other technologies with respect to considerations of cost, reliability, polluting the surrounding and noise. A new model for estimating global solar radiation from relative sunshine hour records is developed and applied to estimate available solar energy of Wogdi Town.This proposal has good efficiency, cost-effective, environmentally friend than the existing diesel water Pumping System. However, it requires high initial investment cost.Under study, design and simulation of different components of solar water pumping system software (PVsyst) has been used and played a significant role. Finally, the overall modelled system has also been recommended for testing and applications in other similar areas.

Mr Mohammed Ahmed has obtained his BEd from ASTU in Electrical Electronics Technology & MSc from AMU, Ethiopia in Electrical Power Engineering, since 2009 and 2012 respectively. Since he has working as Senior Lecturer of Electrical & Computer Eng. in JU, Ethiopia. Currently he is working on different projects in the Electrical Power and Energy area.
