Paul Post has been in the newspaper field for thirty years, the past fifteen with The Saratogian in Saratoga Springs, New York, where he has won numerous state and national writing awards. His November 2008 three-part series on veterans won first place in the Suburban Newspapers of America national feature-writing contest. Those stories and the subjects he profiled, Morris Katz (World War II), Bob Nevins (Vietnam) and Mike Biss (Afghanistan), are contained in Soldiers of Saratoga County, the author's third book. His other works are The Never Ending Story, What's Fit to Print: The Life of Harness Racing Legend Harold Story and Foresight 20/20: The Life of Major League Baseball Scout Ralph DiLullo. Mr. Post has also written more than five hundred magazine articles for several dozen magazines, primarily sports related. He is a frequent contributor to Baseball Digest, Sports Collector's Digest and Baseball America and has written for a variety of environmental, public policy, travel and trade publications. He lives in Glens Falls, New York, and enjoys sports, travel and history.
