Beetles of the genus Blaps are very well known insects around the world, except that many details relating to their developmental biology remain unknown. This contribution aims to dive into the world of beetles, in particular the genus Blaps, in order to take some notes on their life cycle and the different stages of development. This work is subdivided into two parts, all of which aim to deepen the reflection on the world of insects. The first part is like being a monograph which deals with the biology of a species of beetles belonging to the genus Blaps. The second part of the book is devoted to various photographs which can bring some elements to the readers. This contribution is aimed at young readers to better understand the entomological heritage and then to love it and preserve it, and also to adults to take a break in order to revisit what has been added to protect what remains of the entomofauna. ."It is the duty of every man to give back to the world at least as much ashe has received" Albert Einstein.
