India is currently facing critical water supply and drinking water quality problems. Fluorosis is widely prevalent in many parts of our country. About 25-30 million Indians are exposed to the risk of contacting fluorosis in various endemic regions and half a million are crippled by it. This study examines the fluoride content of well water in different parts of Talupula area of Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. It also focuses on fluorides and their relationship to water-quality parameters and their impacts on humans through groundwater resources.
