The present study aimed to investigate the impact of some sociodemographic factors including age, body mass index, smoking, varicocele, period of abstinence, leukocyte, liquefaction time and seasonal variation on the semen and sperm parameters of infertile patients. The current study was carried out between November 2021 and February 2022. The study included (265) selected infertile patients who attended the fertility center in AL-Sadr Medical City-Najaf-Iraq. The results showed significant difference (P<0.01) in semen volume, sperm concentration, progressive motility percent (A+B) and normal morphology in relation to age, body mass index, smoking, leukocytospermia, duration of abstinence, liquefaction time and varicocele.Furthermore, study shows a correlation (P<0.05) between luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone and testosterone with all sperm parameters: semen volume, sperm concentration, progressive motility (A+B) and normal morphology.Also,the results presented asignificant difference (P<0.05) in all sperm parameters with seasonal variations.
