Autorenporträt
The author holds a National Diploma in Civil Engineering and in Journalism. He has worked various jobs ranging from cooking Irish breakfasts to gutting buildings for renovation. Emmet, a keen Gaelic footballer has contributed many GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) articles to the "Irish Star" newspaper. Currently working in the Irish Post Office, he and his partner Brigitte were recently blessed with a baby son, Luc. Luc, at nine months, is one of Emmet's harshest critics, pulling very severe scowls whenever Emmet reads him some of his work. Stubbornly Luc's father continues to wrestle with the keyboard. He has to this point, two other unpublished novels, "Imbroglio" and "The Championship."
