This book is not the whole view at the thermal biology of reptiles. Here separate, not yet published papers in different aspects of thermal biology and evolution of vertebrates are collected. The feature, that joines these papers, is that they touch some important and not yet well-studied aspects of reptiles' thermal biology. All these papers are the results of long-term investigations, partely already published. But the thermobiological aspects, raised in these publications, need separate clarification, verification and demonstration. Therefore, these papers are very important in understanding of the main terms and concepts of the reptile's thermal biology and ecology. I think that they are doubly important because they try to pay attention to some trends that must be developed in future.
