This book mainly includes observations and identifications of some important fauna in Kangyigon and Nyanyintha areas of Pyin Oo Lwin Township and Dattaw area, Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region, Myanmar. In Kangyigon area, fauna from Zebingyi Formation only had been studied while fauna from Kyaingtaung Formation, Nyaungbaw Formation and Zebingyi Formation were observed and identified in Nyanyintha area. The trilobites, graptolites, gastropods, cephalopods, brachiopods, tentaculites sp. and styliolina sp. are some common fauna in Zebingyi Formation. The brachiopods, brozoans and crinoid steams are abundant in Kyaingtaung Formation while graptolites, brachipods, trilobites and crinoids stems are observed in Nyaungbaw Formation. Those fauna indicate that the age of those formations of Pyin Oo Lwin Township is from Late Ordovician to Middle Devonian and this finding is a new contribution to recent stratigraphy of Myanmar. The fusulinids, bryozoa, corals and brachiopods fauna were identified in Thitsipin Limestone Formation of Dattaw area, Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region. Based on those fauna, seven microfacies have been established in the Thitsipin Limestone Formation.
