The buffaloes are considered one of the most important animals reared in the Egypt. The species characterized by its resistance to diseases, its good meat and milk quality also for its high conversion rate that make it more economic than others. Natural service still the main trend among farmers in the Egyptian villages. Therefore, natural service of infected females could result in infection of the male. Moreover, increased number of females than bulls might result in manegmental subfertility. Artificial insemination, on the other hand can solve these problems when used on a large scale, replacing the natural service. It could also be a practical way of improving the hereditary quality of the newborn. We aimed from this study to spread the artificial insemination among the buffaloes by improving its freezability. We tried also to use proper diluents during preservation.
