Traces the author's haphazard fairy-tale journey during which she rose from her small-town American origins to fulfill a dream of marrying into the British royal family, an effort that began at the age of six, when she met and began writing love letters to Elizabeth II's oldest grandson, Peter Phillips.
The charming story of a small-town girl who dreams of finding love with a real-life English prince?and who?s willing to go to hilarious lengths to make her fairy tale come true

Most young girls dream of becoming a princess. But unlike most girls, Jerramy Fine never grew out of it. Strangely drawn to the English royal family since she was a child, Jerramy spends her childhood writing love letters to Buckingham Palace and absorbing any information she can find on modern-day princesses throughout the world. Years later, when her sense of destiny finally brings her to London, Jerramy navigates the murky waters of English social circles, etiquette, and dating with hilarious results.

Autorenporträt
Born in 1977, Jerramy Fine grew up in western Colorado. (Yet she still maintains there was a dreadful hospital mix-up and she was switched at birth with the baby daughter of English aristocrats.) She attended the University of Rochester, where she spent her semester abroad working in the House of Commons, and later completed her master's at the London School of Economics. She now lives in London with her English boyfriend. He's not royal, but she forgives him.
