DARYL POTTER has been a farmhand, nurse, carpenter, cook, chicken catcher, emergency room assistant, medical genetics lab technician, investment broker, IT manager, operations manager, and banking products manager. Daryl has explored Egypt's pyramids, Israel's deserts, and Turkey's archaeology. Born near Ottawa and raised in northern British Columbia and California, Daryl returned solo to Canada as a teenager where he has resided ever since.Daryl's boyhood homeschool education began on a tractor seat among crops of soybeans and alfalfa, continued on animal farms and in art studios, and eventually led to formal studies at the University of British Columbia, the University of Waterloo, and the Ivey School of Business. In addition to studying Alexandrian Greek, chemistry, ancient Hebrew poetry, and physics, he has been bitten by a wolf in northern British Columbia, attacked by a western diamondback rattlesnake in California, and struck by lightning on Canada's west coast. Ask about a favourite memory, and there's a good chance he'll tell you about that salmon caught on a wet fly on a wild section of the Mamquam River.
