Is a woman required to stay with her abusive husband to be a good Christian? Can a woman have her own special mission from God? Do angels really watch over us? SOMETIMES ANGELS WEEP is the story of one special soul's journey through life, and her answers to these questions. The story starts in the courts of heaven, where Eelima, one of the Elohim, is given his assignment on earth. An unseen angel goes with him through the earthly journey. His earthly identity is "Jenny," who is raised in the circus by a mother who was abandoned while pregnant, and a 'father' who is abusive. At 18, she runs away to the arms of a 'mama's boy,' from whom she soon flees again. Her parents take her infant son from her at gunpoint when she goes to New York to find work. Her second husband is abusive and unfaithful, but she stays with him after her conversion, because the church says she must. The second part of Jenny's life starts years later when she finally does leave her husband just in time to keep from being murdered. She goes into prison ministry, where she meets and falls in love with a much younger man. God uses her in the prison system and she eventually marries the young prisoner. There are many problems, such as his forced escape from Deer Lodge prison. She helps him hide out in the mountains until he can safely turn himself in again. A younger woman complicates their lives, and Jenny must work through all these troubles while still remaining true to her Lord. SOMETIMES ANGELS WEEP is a love story.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
C. S. Hanson, or Sue, as her friends know her, is recognized in her hometown of Northport, Michigan, as a playwright. She has written and produced several musical comedies (with a partner writing the musical scores and directing), as well as creating a musical docu-drama depicting the origins of Northport. That was produced with great success as part of Northport's 1999 Sesquicentennial Celebration. The team of Hanson and Bloomquist has also completed a Musical History of Michigan for 4th Grade, which will soon be available on their website. Sue has also written other song lyrics, as well as poetry and stories for children. She and her husband have lived in Alaska, Indiana, California, and Michigan. Sue spent over 20 years doing real estate sales and then business brokerage in the Grand Rapids area, before retiring to Northport, where she and her husband grew up. They live in a small house with a gorgeous view of Grand Traverse Bay. SOMETIMES ANGELS WEEP is her second book. The first, TO HIM THAT OVERCOMES, is yet to be published.
